YOGA YOGA GUIDE
Whether you’re joining your first class or curious how it all works — this guide walks you through the full session, what you’ll practice, and when to show up
How the class unfolds
Every class follows the same five phases — show up, move through each one, and stay till the end.
Omkara
The session begins with Omkara — a collective chanting that sets the tone for the entire class. It brings focus, calm, and intention before the practice begins. Make sure you are logged in and present before this starts.
Stretching
After Omkara, the class moves into gentle stretching exercises. This is your warm-up — slowly waking up the muscles and joints, preparing the body for what follows. Move at your own pace and let your breath guide you.
Cardio
Once the body is warmed up, the pace picks up with cardio exercises. Breathing and movement work together here. You will feel your heart rate rise and your energy build. Stay focused and keep your full body visible in frame.
Asana Practice
This is the heart of the session. The class moves into yoga asanas with full attention on form, alignment, and awareness. Each posture is held with care. This is where the real practice deepens — stay present and follow the instructor closely.
Shavasana
The session closes with Shavasana — the final resting pose. You lie flat on your back and allow the body to fully absorb the practice. This is not optional. Attendance is marked only after Shavasana. Do not leave before it ends.
